AmberJade Digital was founded in Pretoria in 2006 — though the design work itself started even earlier. We build websites and business systems for South African companies, and we've stuck around long enough to see what actually holds up.
The Story
We started this because good businesses kept getting let down by bad web design — sites that looked fine in the pitch, then quietly stopped working. Plugins nobody explained. An agency that vanished the moment the invoice cleared. Nearly twenty years later, the actual work has changed a lot. The reason we do it hasn't. Build it properly. Explain it in plain English. Stick around after launch.
Who we are: AmberJade is run by a husband-and-wife team — not a faceless agency, and not one person pretending to be a whole company. Real people, genuinely invested in whether this works for you.
What we believe:
Plain English, always. If you leave a call more confused than when you called, we've failed.
No lock-in. We'd rather earn your business every month than trap you in a contract.
Working beats pretty. A beautiful site that doesn't convert is just an expensive business card.
Meet the Team
AmberJade is run by us — Rochelle and Marcel, married, and business partners too.
Rochelle's been designing since 2000, and started AmberJade in 2006. Marcel's background is in sound engineering, and these days he's the one quietly keeping everything running smoothly behind the scenes.
Two very different skill sets, one shared way of doing things — properly, and with care. When you reach out, it's genuinely one of us who answers, not a faceless agency.
